You can choose the resource either in the contact list or from the chatwindow's member list by right-clicking on the contact and then selecting "Select Resource". Sorry, misunderstood you. Reopening. Not sure if this can be done, it definitely depends on support from libkopete - currently no subitems to a contact are allowed. IMO "subcontact" is a preferred way to display multiple jabber resources for a contact. One other way would be, perhaps, to display a separate contact for each of the connected resources. So, in my example, this would mean that there will be two online users in my contact list: bob@jabber.org/home and bob@jabber.org/work. If this were easier to implement, I would settle for this. ;^) My main concern is that it should be easier to send a message to a particular contact/resource combination. what about a ComboBox in a message window that list the Ressources with their priority ? Dear user, unfortunately Kopete is no longer maintained. Please migrate to another solution, e.g. for Jabber a possibility is Kaidan, for Matrix a candidate is NeoChat. |
