Please provide a detailed description of the bug and/or a backtrace of a
self-compiled kmail (see kmail.ingo-kloecker.de) that contains debug
information. Otherwise we can't do anything.

Does deleting the cache for this IMAP account help? The data is cached in ~/.kde/share/apps/kmail/imap in a hidden directory which corresponds to the name of your account. Sorry, but I don't understand what you are trying to say.
I was experiencing the same issue. I went into the imap folder at .kde/share/apps/kmail/imap and removed (relocated) all of the hidden files and directories for both imap servers I had configured. Restarted kmail and resubscribed to my remote folders. Everything seems to be working now. No crashes (yet). *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 74117 *** |
