*** Bug 85094 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** This bug has been confirmed by popular vote. *** Is this still valid for kde 4? Yes, it is. It would be really nice if application items in krunner can be dragged to the desktop. Similarly, for example the output of the unit converter can be dragged into a text editor. (In reply to comment #3) > Is this still valid for kde 4? Yes, specially if you do not have a menu (kickoff, raptor, lancelot, etc.) to drag icons from. I just tested it, you can drag any file or application - even from the recent used list - onto the desktop. It asks you to copy and generates a .desktop file which works just fine. (In reply to comment #6) I can confirm you observation using KDE SC 4.8 beta2, so close it as FIXED. |
