Version:           1.6 (using KDE 3.2.0 RC1, compiled sources)
Compiler:          gcc version 3.3.3 20031229 (prerelease) (Debian)
OS:          Linux (i686) release 2.6.1

the size of the columns is set to some default when 'apply'/'ok' is clicked after changing some settings in the 'configure kmail' page.

Running kmail independently, not within kontact.

I can confirm this using KMail 1.6.2 (KDE 3.2.2) and Kontakt.

I'll talk to Till to about 54958. This is obviously not fixed.

I confirm this again. Same here Kmail 1.9.9 Using KDE 3.5.9

This occurs after changing Kmail settings.
