Seems to work fine in all cases with current version. Can you retry? No change in BRANCH. Does not work. What did you do to mark the cursor position? I ask this since a html document does not have a cursor. Sorry, misunderstood your description. I have exactly the same problem with kde 3.2.1 from sid (and with 3.2.0 too)

Does it mean that we can't specify a position to start a search ?
I'm sure that with other browser, I can search from anywhere I want in a html page. It's annoying to search a whole page when it's big if I know a bit where to look for.
Does konqueror have this feature, if it's not "from the cursor" ?
