*** Bug 86155 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** To narrow it down I downloaded an old Knoppix 3.2 from 05/20/03, it contains KDE 3.1.2 according to the Knoppix' changelog. In KDE 3.1.2 the smb-kioslave did respect custom file view settings, since KDE 3.2 Beta it does not (it still exists in 3.3.1). The problem of not respecting custom file view settings stills exists in KDE 3.4.1, and it isn't a problem of the smb-kioslave only, it doesn't work with the media-kioslave also. This works for me. If it is still an issue please reopen the bug. |
