I would like to see a quick reply option in Kmail. This would (optionally) add a small edit box and a button below the email preview in the main interface. If you type some text and then click the button, a reply is sent to the writer of the currently selected email with the typed text in the body.

Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented.
