I can't quite figure out what you mean here. Kopete does have the ability to have multiple Yahoo accounts. I have two Yahoo accounts set up in my Kopete. You can then add friends to whichever account you like. Can you please clarify? Yes, Kopete can log in to multiple independent YahooIDs. I believe the OP is talking about the ability for Kopete to handle different Yahoo profiles(nicks) owned by the same YahooID. See bug 142301 for my experience with this issue, before I was told this feature wasn't yet implemented. *** Bug 143473 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** And yet nothing has been done about this from 2004 ? This feature is implemented long before that and I really need kopete to handle my multile screen names or else I cannot talk to all the people in my list, and I don't think I am the only one, please guys take care of this. Hello from the KDE Bugsquad! Unfortunately, Yahoo has discontinued the Yahoo Messenger service, and the code has been removed from Kopete. Thus, I am closing this bug as "UNMAINTAINED" since it will no longer be fixable, or able to operate due to Yahoo. |
