I put in 20 votes for this myself. Not sure if its the same component that is used for the background, but having the Background -> Slide Show feature have a subdirectories feature is what I'm after. If this is a separate issue, please let me know and I'll keep looking for an existing wishlist item or will create a new one. I know alot of people that collect wallpapers put them all into their own subdirectory, ie. I am an anime fan and every series has its own folder in which I put wallpapers from that series into its own folder. I will be making myself a temporary workaround of creating a script that runs "find" in a specified folder and symlinks and graphics files it finds into a separate folder. I'm not 100% certain that the slide show system will allow symlinks, but I'm guessing it does. If anyone wants a copy of this script, please let me know. not just the screensaver but also the background slideshow isn't entering the folders recursively. I'd like to see my background flipping through my entire pictures folder |
