Version:           1.1 (using KDE 3.1.94 (3.2 Beta 2), Gentoo)
Compiler:          gcc version 3.3.2 20031022 (Gentoo Linux 3.3.2-r3, propolice)

it seems that the icons in the system tray don't "stack" like the windows in the pager do when you resize the kicker.  it would be really nice if all the apps running in the kicker didn't have to be lined up left to right and could instead stack up like the windows in the pager.

as it is right now, my system tray is running klipper, kmix, korganizer, kgpg, kwallet, kopete, (something represented by a floppy disk... still not sure what that does) and noatun. and it's taking up about 25% of my kicker @1024x768.  if the icons could be restricted to 16x16 and just stack (like the lock/logout applet) then i'd save so much more space...

either that, or some winxp-like function that would let you hide less-often used apps under a little (>) button...

It stacks at size "Large" or already if you set it "Custom Size" with 48 pixels.

I use Normal Size for Kicker and 800x600 resolution (because my monitor doesn't support 1024x768 resolution). 

I want to have more space for Taskbar so Please allow 16x16 icons in system tray, so that my precious panel space is saved just like quick launcher.

Since, you people only work at hi resolution 1024x768 and above, you won't know the woe of users havnig medium and low resolution like 800x600 and below.

I wish KDE allow all type of icon 16,22,32,48 wherever an icon is used.

this are two bugs in one:
a) make system dock icons resizable: bug 60468
b) allow System Tray, Quick Launcher and/or Clock to be stacked one above the other to save panel space: bug 70881

now that the systemtray support dynamic stacking, this is just a dupe of 60468 and will be taken care of for the next release.. =)
