This was changed because in the case of "Reply to mailing list" the To is already entered. So you end up with focus in a field you usually don't want to change. Look ma, it's a feature. :) Subject: Re: creating new mail has focus in Subject instead To field

Aha.
I used to use only the "new massage to mailing list" toolbutton, because then
I did not need to think about which button to click to create a new message.
When I had a mailing-list folder selected, it was clear that I wanted to send
a message to the list.
If I was in another folder, I created a new message without the To: address.
So both worked as I liked - but no more...
Can you change it in the way, that if I select "new message to mailing list",
but the current selected folder has no "folder holds mailing-list" attribute
(that means, the new message window has no To: address in it), that _then_
the focus is in the To: field ?
Since I also exclusively use the New Message to Mailing-list button I'll change this as M. proposed. Hello? Focus is still in the Subject: field as of KDE 3.2.1. I guess it's not too hard to fix, so it should be done asap (and be backported to KDE 3.2.2, please).
