Are you talking about a KMail crash or a system crash? We would rather fix the crash instead. KMail isn't really at fault if you have corrupted mailboxes, but it is if it is guilty of corrupting things. A KMail/Kontact crash. I haven't confirmed that it isn't a problem with my system in general (it likes to randomly send SIGILL; yes, my compilation optimizations are sane), but it would be nice if didn't screw up the outbox when/if it did crash. Especially when it really has no reason to be accessing the mailbox when it crashes. Next crash, I'll try to remember to check the reason and report a bug about that if it isn't SIGILL. |
