Version:           3.0 (using KDE 3.1.92 (alpha2, CVS >= 20030921), compiled sources)
Compiler:          gcc version 3.2.1
OS:          Linux (i686) release 2.4.22-ck2

- open a new note from KNotes systray icon.
- enter some text (I used richedit)
- open Kontact, notes part.
- edit your original note on the screen
- close Kontact again
- the note on screen now looses the edits you made after starting Kontact.

We will try to use libkcal locking to fix that before 3.2

Hi,

Using KDE 3.2.1 (Knotes 3.0.1, Kontact 0.8.1) this bug is still there. It is very problematic because Notes are easily corrupted, so one looses a lot of work.

Whenever a note is opened in the Knotes plugin in Kontact, then any editing in the yellow sticky note is lost as soon as you switch to Kontact. 

Possibly bug 76152 is a duplicate of this bug.
