It seems to me that this is part of a wider issue. The POP3 filter is an excellent idea but would be more flexible if the operations performed were independently triggered. Currently you have to choose ONE of Download Now, Download later (ie do nothing), Delete. Furthermore, if you have disabled the global account option Delete Mail on Server, Delete does nothing - this is surely a bug? Wouldn't it be simpler if you had two checkboxes: Download message Delete message on server (after downloading, if applicable) which could be independently set, with the 'Delete on server' operating whether or not you had the global 'Delete Mail on Server' option set. That way you could delete known spam immediately, or download it and then delete it on the server. |
