I agree with this wishlist item and think it should be rolled in with Bug 64796. The only edit I'd make to the above item is that I think you should always be able to choose the special folder locations for any email identity. I realize that currently you can choose the special folders, but as this bug says: a) they don't default properly relative to the inbox, and b) it doesn't appear as though a chosen special foler is truly special (this involves moving it to top of folder list & assigned it special icon) Actually I posted a patch that (amongst other things) addresses this to the KMail developers list on November 11th, but it has been ignored without comments so far: http://lists.kde.org/?l=kmail&m=106855166625510&w=2 *** This bug has been confirmed by popular vote. *** This bug/missing feature still persists in kmail2 in KDE 4.7.3. It is very annoying when having to configure multiple Accounts, since you have to set the folders at to different points for _each_ account. All other clients, that I have tried, do not need this manual adjustment. Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented. Thank you for your understanding. Instead of creating a new feature request, please confirm here if the wishlist is still valid for kmail2. This bug is still valid in kmail2. As an example, the only folder I can set in a sisconnected imap account is trash. |
