Description sean 2003-03-06 20:21:11 UTC
Version: v0.9.5 (using KDE 3.1.0)
Installed from: Gentoo
Compiler: gcc version 3.2.2
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.20-gentoo-r1

I tend to respond to lots of support emails at once, and find myself spitting out the same paragraph in some of these messages. Klipper serves me well in this regard because I can view my history and select the paragraph I want to re-use. However, from time to time, the frequent copy/paste during a coding session (or whatever) will push my paragraphs out of my history. This is a big bummer, and it usually means I have to jump to Kmail -> Sent Mail, select the message, and copy the paragraph again.

It would be cool if I could ctrl-c to copy a paragraph, then ctrl-c again, and have Klipper popup a "Make clipboard entry sticky?" prompt. If I select Yes, then the entry can get pushed down my list, but never off my list, until I manually clear my clipboard contents.

Thanks for taking the time to read my suggestion.
