What exactly isn't rendered? Please be specific the bottom 3/4 of the page Class could not be loaded: at.spardat.applets.JavaCheck Backtrace: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: Class:at.spardat.applets.JavaCheck at org.kde.kjas.server.KJASAppletClassLoader.findClass(KJASAppletClassLoader.java:248) at org.kde.kjas.server.KJASAppletClassLoader.loadClass(KJASAppletClassLoader.java:281) at org.kde.kjas.server.KJASAppletStub$2.run(KJASAppletStub.java:182) at java.lang.Thread.run(Thread.java:534) This should really go to konqui devels :-) This ClassNotFoundException doesn't occur when enabling 'Use KIO' in 'Java & Javascript' settings. Probably cookie based authentication. Can you confirm it works with the 'Use KIO' option? Subject: Re: page not rendered with java turned on yes with kio enabled it works, but kio is not enabled by default. So I am not sure if this is a good option. 'Use KIO' is written by me with very little input from the KIO developers and non from other Java developers. I think it should become default in the future, but now it's IMO too much untested to make it default for 3.2 already. For ordinary usage, like games and chat boxes, users don't need it. |
