Version:            (using KDE KDE 3.0.99)
Installed from:    Mandrake RPMs
Compiler:          gcc 3.2( or was it a number above? Should be the lastest) 
OS:          Linux

The new mouse cursor in Xfree86 4.3 is overriden in kde( the nice translucent one).

If I place the mouse cursor to resize a window I get the old ugly one.
This goes for hovering over links in Konq and some other stuff.
(I do not know if this really should be reported as a Kwin bug as I have no insight in the source: Move it as you see fit)

Good work on kde 3.1!

Please see #54359 for how to deal with this; this is basically not a bug, as X 
simply doesn't have the neccessary cursors, and can be effectively solved with 
a few symlinks.
