Description Gerhard Hoogterp 2003-01-16 20:08:44 UTC
Version: 1.5 (using KDE 3.1.0 (RC6))
Installed from: compiled sources
Compiler: gcc version 2.96 20000731 (Red Hat Linux 7.3 2.96-113)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.18-18.7.x

After trying to get gpg to work again in kmail, I wondered why there isn't an option to manualy verify a signature. This would be usefull for those who don't use auto-retrieve per default as it slows down the system in some cases.
clicking on the key, and the key-submenu would be logical places for such a feature.

An other alternative could be to set the status to unchecked and start an external process for retrieving the key.

Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented.
Thank you for your understanding.

Instead of creating a new feature request, please confirm here if the wishlist is still valid for kmail2.
