The conversation window has an action to change the font face, but this seems to have no effect on the data that is sent to the other party.  That is, they always see the same font (presumably their default font).  I am seeing this while using the Oscar protocol (I haven't tested it with any other protocols; don't know if it's protocol specific.)

Does this still happen with Kopete 0.6.2?

sure it does, we don't send out colors or font definitions in oscar yet. For AIM I think it's 
possible to do this easily (AIM uses some small subset of HTML). For ICQ (which now is based 
on our OSCAR plugin) it's harder because it needs to send RTF messages which are a lot more 
complicated than simple text-only messages.

Yeah, I thought sgehn's response answered the question, so I didn't feel 
compelled to follow up personally.  Anyway, no, it does not work in version 
0.6.2.

For ICQ: Needs type-2 messages support 
For AIM: Need docs about the supported HTML tags of AIM.

Added simple support for fg color, bg color, font-family and font-size for AIM. 
ICQ will be postponed for some time, it uses ugly RTF and I don't want to parse that 
(rtf being what m$ word use[s,d] in its .rtf files!).

When will be activated RTF in ICQ for outgoing messages? font /Style selector is still shadowed on kopete 0.9.1 in kde-3.3.1.. please fix it
