You can AFAIR change the component directly after you pressed "Finish bug report" (or alike). Don't want to file a test bug now to test it. :-) Yes, you can, but a) that results in an additional mail from bugs.kde.org b) you need to press on "back" in your browser in order to report another bug (or you have to re-enter everything again) I think it is just unhandy when you know which component you report a bug for. CU Andi Hi again. It seems this wishlist item is somewhat fixed... I just noticed that every component except the "general" component is listed in the applications list of the report bug form (I could not check for "general", as a search for that word returns every application and the list is unsorted) when you use the "all apps" filter. So - is this a bug or a feature? Well I find it very confusing that a *component* is listed as "application". In boson we use components for example for our graphics and package (rpm, etc) bugs. I just received a debian dependancy problem of KOffice because I didn't know I had to mention the application name... In case this is a feature feel free to close this wishlist item. CU Andi See also bug #50952 If you search for the right thing in the wizard, you will find it there. I think this is fixed, since it is now possible to select a component of a package. |
