Oh - I've tried deleting the indexes -- this temporarily solved the problem of messages being marked as unread... but any new mail still suffers from the same problem. I use KBiff which invokes kmail --check before reading mail. I've just checked the options -- Network::Send mail in Outbox on check WASN'T checked, so checked it then checked it OFF again (just in case). Mail is stored in Maildir format. I've just "Compacted" the problem folders (to delete mail that re-appears) and they have gone. Mail - still is in Mail/outbox file but doesn't get sent, nor is visible in KMail any more. can you reproduce that problem with kmail 1.5? Do you use NFS? |
