forgot to add this information (wish I could edit previous posts): STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Install 'NormCap' from flathub 2. Set it's screenshot permissions to always ask 3. Launch 'NormCap' and give it screenshot permission SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: openSUSE Tumbleweed 20260131 KDE Plasma Version: 6.5.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.22.0 Qt Version: 6.10.1 OBSERVED RESULT plasmashell and the portal both crashed and then resumed normal functionality after granting screenshot permission to 'NormCap'. Crash couldn't be reported automatically EXPECTED RESULT permission should just be granted without any crashes Can you reproduce this when not updating your system without rebooting? (In reply to Harald Sitter from comment #3) > Can you reproduce this when not updating your system without rebooting? . no, rebooted and the problem went away |
