Correction to the steps to reproduce

1. Open Dolphin
2. Shift+Del an item

With that said, when I Shift+Del or move an item in Dolphin I see no notification at all. What setting do you have set that shows this?

When I copy an item in Dolphin, the notification does have the timed line of light
Comment 4 Fernando Marcelino Muniz 2026-01-22 21:46:17 UTC
What setting screen do you want me to show? But I don't think I made any changes that would affect notifications.

I've noticed that these notifications only appear when working with massive files, or so many that it takes a bit of time to handle.
Comment 5 Fernando Marcelino Muniz 2026-01-22 21:47:05 UTC
In the video I moved and renamed a massive file.

The notification for failing to connect to Bluetooth doesn't have the light.
Comment 7 Fernando Marcelino Muniz 2026-01-26 03:03:56 UTC
Compacting items is even worst, it disappeared the moment it got to 100%
Comment 8 Fernando Marcelino Muniz 2026-01-26 13:05:05 UTC
Edit Mode notifications are timed but don't have the blue light to indicate when they'll disappear.

Bluetooth low battery notifications also are timed but doesn't have the line of light.

It looks like you're using a highly customized color scheme. Does the issue still happen with any of the default color schemes?
Comment 11 Fernando Marcelino Muniz 2026-01-30 21:39:15 UTC
I'm using Breeze Dark.

OBS Studio is too laggy on 4K, so I had to use GPU Screen Recorder which can't record HDR screens properly.
Comment 12 Nate Graham 2026-01-30 21:44:31 UTC
Hmm, that doesn't look like Breeze Dark to me. Can you confirm this? Are you maybe using it with a custom accent color?

Spectacle can do screen recording too; just press Meta+R

Oh, you have animations turned off, right?

This is an animated effect. You turned off animations -> no more animated effects.
