SUMMARY
In the KDE Discuss forum a few members, me included, have indicated that, a "nice to have" would be that KInfoCenter and "kinfo" also display the installed KDE Gear version.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
As noted in the Forum Post, we know that the KDE Gear version is displayed when the "--version" option is used when calling any KDE Gear application from a CLI.

There is no concept of "the installed KDE Gear version". KDE Gear applications are independent applications whose installed versions don't have to coincide.

The applications report *their* version number, not the "KDE Gear" version number
