SUMMARY
USB devices from a StaarTech USB 2 bay drive doesn't always see any drives. Taking drives out and back in again fixes the issue but does it again.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Turn on and wait if it sees any drives

That would suggest the drive bay enclosure is actually cutting off access to the devices by the OS after a period of time. Unfortunately this means there's not much KDE can do about it.

I'd recommend talking to the manufacturer about it.

Assuming it's the manufacturer?
It works fine in Windows for over 2 years.
Sorry you need to give more information on who to report this to.
Linux does not come with a manual or where to report this issue.
Even Help documents in the Bazzite doesn't help.

I'd recommend you contact your distro about it. Hopefully they can help you. The reason is because this is a bug tracker for KDE software, not a general support channel for issues not traceable to KDE's software being at fault.
