It's because in english the plural for "Music" is "Music", while in PT-BR the plural for "Música" is "Músicas". Apparently I can't simply make a merge request and wait for a translator to approve. I've removed "junior-jobs" from the keywords. is it still free ? i would like to fix it... I've identified the translation inconsistency in po/pt_BR/dolphin.po. The issue is in this entry: msgid "Music" msgstr "Música" It should be changed to: msgid "Music" msgstr "Músicas" This will make the Places shortcut consistent with the home folder display. I attempted to submit this as a merge request, but KDE's translation policy requires translation fixes to be submitted through the bug report system. The change would also need a note explaining why. After all, the error only becomes evident when compared to the other Home folders because they reveal that everything is meant to be plural, but without the context it seems like it is the correct translation. I fixed the problem in SVN. I have write permission there. It will sync with Git in a day or two, and the fix will be in the next release. As a suggestion, we have a Telegram group that deals with the KDE translation into Brazilian Portuguese. Any errors reported there are easily and quickly corrected. I believe it's the best process. Here's the invitation: t.me/kdel10nptbr Currently, we have 100% translation (including documentation) and have maintained this status for some time. But we always need a review here and there. So, if you want to join us, you're welcome. |
