Sentry Crash Report:

Description Nope! 2025-12-27 22:27:48 UTC
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Place the standalone folder in a directory with diacritical marks/accented character (á, ê, õ, characters like that).
2. Open kdenlive (From the standalone folder) and try to open any video file into it.
3. Get an error.

OBSERVED RESULT
An error saying that it couldn't open said video file.

EXPECTED RESULT
Open said video file without issues.

OS VERSION
Windows 11 24H2 (64 bits).

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I placed the standalone folder in C:/, tried opening a video (in kdenlive) and the problem magically went away. Why? Because the folder was in a directory that doesn't has diacritical marks.
And just to make sure, I created a directory in C:/ that had diacritical marks (let's call it "ÁÊÌÕÛ"), placed the standalone folder in ÁÊÌÕÛ, tried opening a video (again, in kdenlive) and the problem returned.

Note: (should've done this earlier, but it's too late now :/) Apparently, this bug occurs if the local account you're on diacritical mark. not if a directory itself has a diacritical mark.

For example: If I log with a local account named "Cléhber" (notice the ´ at the e), then
