### **SUMMARY**

Screen recording of the desktop on Plasma Wayland flickers/blinks in the captured video.
The issue is *not* visible on the actual screen, only in the recording.
Window capture works correctly; only desktop capture is affected.

### **STEPS TO REPRODUCE**

1. Start KDE Plasma Wayland session with NVIDIA GPU (see system info below).
2. Record the desktop using OBS (or other screen recorder using PipeWire/Wayland capture).
3. View the recorded video.

### **OBSERVED RESULT**

The captured video shows **heavy blinking/flickering** of windows during desktop capture.
This flicker does **not** appear on-screen, only in the recording.
Window capture of a single window works fine.

### **EXPECTED RESULT**

Desktop capture should record the screen exactly as displayed, without flickering or blinking.

### **ADDITIONAL INFORMATION**

* Issue *only occurs* with **desktop capture** on Wayland.
* **Window capture** works normally.
* OBS preview also shows the flickering (not just the final recording).
