Description Domenico 2025-11-29 14:23:55 UTC
Several System Tray applets display a tooltip that begins with the phrase “Middle-click to <action>”.
In the Italian localization, this same pattern is translated inconsistently across different components, even though the context and meaning are identical.

Examples of current Italian translations:

Color Picker (plasma_applet_org.kde.plasma.colorpicker.po)
Middle-click to copy the color code →
“Fai clic con il pulsante centrale del mouse per copiare il codice colore”

Volume (plasma_applet_org.kde.plasma.volume.po)
Middle-click to unmute →
“Clic centrale per rimuovere il silenzio”

Network Management (plasma_applet_org.kde.plasma.networkmanagement.po)
Middle-click to turn off Airplane Mode →
“Clic con il pulsante centrale del mouse per disattivare la modalità aereo”

Workspace (kcm_workspace.po)
Middle-click to scroll to clicked location →
“Clic centrale per scorrere alla posizione su cui hai fatto clic”

This results in four different translation patterns for the same phrase “Middle-click to”.

patch to fix middle click consistency

I've fixed the issues by making a patch (I'm not able to commit the changes because I don't a kde SVN developer account)

Vincenzo, most of the translations are assigned to you, can you please take a look and uniform the translations?
