Issue on Plasma 6.5.2
I don't understand the problem here. You resized the widget to be bigger than default, after moving the panel the widget was bigger like you explicitly resized it to be. I didn't resize to that long size in the video. In the attached video I reduce the Application Menu to the minimum size possible, rotate the Panel, and the Application Menu is in the maximum size, I reduce to the minimum size and rotate it back, and the Application Menu is in the maximum size. I can reproduce this, but this is not Application Menu, it's Application Launcher. |
