We' not exposing workarounds in the UI. If there's a bug it needs fixing Ok, I am not going to push it anymore. Maybe third-party restart widge/applet will be enough. I just want to say that most frequent question in Technical support call centers to the user is "Have you tried to restart your computer?", so the 'restart' (even in KDE) is treated not just as workaround in most cases. It is good for troubleshooting to know if 'restart' helped. It is information for further investigation. To know if 'restart thunderbolt subsystem' helped could be such information in troubleshooting. |
