Also talked to a friend and they are having the same issue on arch, they are using x11 and I am using wayland Also talked to a friend and they are having the same issue on arch, they are using x11 and I am using wayland My friend is also on nvidia 20 series speficlay What happens when you edit the arrangement? (In reply to Harald Sitter from comment #5) > What happens when you edit the arrangement? Screens disappear in the GUI when you click edit arrangment and I didn't try forcing it in the terminal Can you reproduce this on a new user as well? (In reply to Harald Sitter from comment #7) > Can you reproduce this on a new user as well? i will try that sometime today or tmr, i missed a good amount of homework because i was trouble shooting this issue and need to get caught up also seeing how this same issue is happening on 3 different distros on 3 diffrent pieces of hardware with 3 diffrent sets of monitors i am pretty much certain the issue can be replicated on a new user Updated to plasma 6.5 and issues priests, made a new user and the issue did not show uo with my 5 minutes of messing about Going to try setting KDE plasma to stick settings if there a way ti do that on my main user OK I swapped to coneplty stock breeze dark, rm ~/.config/plasmashellrc and ~/.config/plasma-org.kde.plasma.desktop wall let's rc as a kde f9rum post said that would coneplty reset me ti default and the issue still persists on my user OK so made the new user copied .config and pasted it into my main user overweighting every file needed (I made a backup) then chown everything to my main user and jt works now. So it's something under .config causing the issue. I am willing to upload the folder but it may contain personal info so ehhhhhh surprisingly the only issue after i applied my settings is that the volume up and down buttons no longer work and i have to change volume via the settings app. OK now I have a big problem my non technical friend is having this issue with there only monitor and I am going to have to trouble shooting to explain tk them how to fix it from here Seems like a non stock but common settings or theme is causing this That isn't reset by switching back to breeze If akmeone could up this from grave ti critical that would be nice as this has made my friend computer compelty unusable unless they go into a tty which they don't even know about i am atachgn a google drive link that has a diff of the files under .config and my backup of .config i did not upload it to kde plasm directly as it was too large https://drive.google.com/file/d/1jONKSD8Yxk_230Di7KfagA3MSgh1HSTy/view?usp=sharing |
