I'm not able to reproduce this on Plasma built from git-master. The result of following those steps is that the Bluetooth kcm shows "Bluetooth is disabled" with no devices shown Do you have more than one Bluetooth adapter set up by chance? Yes, I have 2 bluetooth adapters. Sorry, should've mentioned that in the report. We don't have amazing support for the situation where you have multiple Bluetooth adapters. See also Bug 489394. I can reproduce this on git-master using a laptop with the internal Bluetooth receiver disabled and an external BT USB dongle enabled Yes I experienced bug 489394 as well, and a number of other issues I noticed since adding an external BT dongle. I see several areas that can be improved where multiple adapters are present, though I am sure this isn't a super common situation. |
