SUMMARY


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Lock screen
2. Unlock screen
3. Click virtual keyboard
4. Nothing showed

OBSERVED RESULT
No virtual keyboard showed on screen

EXPECTED RESULT
Virtual keyboard showed

My laptop has no touch screen display

Are you trying to use it using a mouse?

Currently you need to set the env variable KWIN_IM_SHOW_ALWAYS=1 for it to show on non touch/tablet.

In the future it will be possible to do this graphically. This change needs to happen in Kwin though.
