Related to https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=500753 ? Changed status to WAITINGFORINFO Sounds like it is related to 500753, yes. i.e. it would be resolved by giving me the "OS-native file picker" (in my case as a Plasma user, xdg-desktop-portal-kde) instead of the "KF-media browser". |
Created attachment 185483 [details] the generic list of Places shown SUMMARY "Project >> Add Clip Or Folder" uses a filepicker that doesn't include the user's configured Places. (Contrast this with say "File >> Open" or "File >> Save As", which use a filepicker titled "xdg-desktop-portal-kde", which does include the user's configured Place.) STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Be working on a project in kdenlive. 2. From the "Project" menu choose "Add Clip or Folder" OBSERVED RESULT The filepicker shown shows a generic set of Places, not the set of Places that the user has configured in their Plasma account (e.g. what the user sees as their places in Dolphin) EXPECTED RESULT The filepicker should show the user's configured Places, as other filepickers in kdenlive do (for example, the filepicker you get in "File >> Open" or "File >> Save As").
