I can't reproduce this on Windows 11. Are you changing the color theme on Windows 11 or in digiKam? Please take a screenshot. Maik (In reply to Maik Qualmann from comment #1) > I can't reproduce this on Windows 11. Default theme .. i cannot see text on hover popup on individual images (w image properties) Any other theme.. i cannot see the pulldown menu text.. the hover popup text is readable. This is just a font color problem in both cases .. entirely in digikam Created attachment 185019 [details]

Can't reproduce this here. It could be an OpenGL issue. Please change the enforcement of software OpenGL in the digiKam setup under Miscellaneous -> System, regardless of whether it's enabled or disabled. digiKam must be restarted for the option to take effect. Please test the pre-release digiKam-8.8.0 from here: https://files.kde.org/digikam/ It is compiled with a more recent version of Qt. At the moment, I have no idea what's causing it. Maik (In reply to Maik Qualmann from comment #9) > Since this issue hasn't been reported by other users yet, it's going to be > difficult to fix. I think I've found the cause. You've set the widget element style to Windows 11 under digiKam Settings -> Miscellaneous -> Appearance. This should always be set to Breeze, which currently supports all color theme features. Maik I confirm the Maik comment #11 as i reproduced the dysfunction on my office laptop under Win11. |
