SUMMARY
Baker's Dozen deals losing hand every time.  
After deal, and auto-moves: "Solver" Game is Lost"
I tried more than 50 (fifty) times to ensure not a one-off

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. launch kpatience
2. choose "New Game"
3. choose Baker's Dozen 

STEPS TO REPRODUCE, alternate:
0. already have attempted Baker's dozen
1. choose "New Deal"

OBSERVED RESULT
Message at bottom left of screen: "Solver: This Game is Lost"

EXPECTED RESULT
Message at bottom left of screen: "Solver: This Game is Winnable"

It works for me.

Can you try with an new updated version? Maybe try kpat from flathub?

The friendly people from Tuxedo found out, that the problem lies with the freecell-solver.

After  "apt upgrade freecell-solver-bin" the solver works again!
