That's because that's the name of the category itself. The kcm_kscreen KCM would also need "Bildschirm" in its list of keywords for German. I see in https://invent.kde.org/plasma/kscreen/-/blob/master/kcm/kcm_kscreen.json?ref_type=heads that it does not. In fact, there is no German translations for the keywords at all. Moving to i18n. Search for "Bildschirm" in Geman Bildschirm is more or less equivalent to Monitor OBSERVED RESULT "Display and Monitor" category appears but is grayed out. The desired child category "Display Configuration" does not appear. "Display Configuration" appears.
