What is "cursor right key"? Can you write specific steps to reproduce that someone can follow? On my 6.4.x postmarketOS Edge machine it just happens out of the blue when I navigate text. On my other 6.3.x postmarketOS 25.06 machine I don't think I've ever seen it happen. I'm referring to the arrow key that SDL3 calls SDLK_RIGHT. So, like, the right arrow key on a normal keyboard? Yes, that one! And are you pressing this key directly? Specific steps to reproduce would be really helpful here. I'm really not doing anything else than clicking some text entry field and pressing the right cursor key to navigate around in the text, for example to edit the text. Like for example I might do in this bug tracker text area. Thanks, that's very strange. I'm 100% sure this is caused by some kind of customization, though. I imagine it never happen in a new clean un-customized account on the same machine, right? ๐๐งน โ ๏ธ This bug has been in NEEDSINFO status with no change for at least 15 days. Thank you for helping us make KDE software even better for everyone! ๐๐งน This bug has been in NEEDSINFO status with no change for at least 30 days. Closing as RESOLVED WORKSFORME. For various reasons I had to reinstall the affected system. The problem is now gone, hinting that this may have been some sort of very obscure configuration error on my end. |
