See bug 414424 for why the current behavior exists. Maik *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 414424 *** The albums view is correct, it is not about the number of folders, but about the number of items in the album in the expanded state. Maik |
Created attachment 183373 [details] expanded SUMMARY In the album tree view the item count of the parent folder (in my attached example "2015") is showing 0 when the folder is expanded. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Make sure the checkbox is activated (I am posting the German names, as I am not 100% if my English translation is correct): settings -> digikam setup ("Digikam einrichten") -> Views ("Ansichten") -> Tree view ("Baumansichten") -> Show number of items in all tree views (Anzahl der Einträge in allen Baumansichten anzeigen) 2. View an album in the album tree view sidebar with subfolders while collapsed. It should show a number if the subfolders have items. 3. Expand one album in the album tree view sidebar with subfolders. It should now show 0 while the subfolders do have items. OBSERVED RESULT When expanded the parent folder shows 0 EXPECTED RESULT should still show the same number (1444 in my case) SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: x
