(At least in Windows)
No matter if the respective option is active in the Monitor Overlay setting, the Audio Waveform isn't shown.
I'm using last nightly build.

The project monitor doesn’t show any audio waveform. Only the clip monitor show audio waveform.

...it'd be good to not show the "Monitor Overlay Audio Waveform" in the RMB menu of the Project Monitor. 👍

I see. Yes, I can confirm the issue. 
No matter if the "Monitor Overlay Audio Waveform" is enabled, it doesn’t show any waveform.

Either we fix it or we disable it.
