It should be in the notifyrc file and used correct that's a valid technical bug and worth doing anyway short term. It'd allow workarounds or people to add in sounds or whatever. There's also the UX issue that we want to solve for everyone. You don't want this notification in the recording. Nor would anyone. An option is the wrong solution. We still want to be able to display the message about how to stop for new users, so need to find something better. Potentially a modal prompt before recording when activated via the UI, but never when activated via the shortcut (as then you clearly know it) Moving from wishlist as not using notifyrc is wrong. *** Bug 508730 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** |
