This is an interesting idea, but history shows us that this kind of workaround will bite us in the butt in the future. It would be much better to debug why your Bluetooth adapter isn't working or pairing with devices properly. I see. The individual problems I had that could be solved by turning bluetooth off and on again felt too specific, but I understand not wanting to include a bandaid solution. (Problems include a knockoff adapter intermittently losing power and buggy peripheral not disconnecting/connecting properly). Would you consider having the 'open bluetooth settings' button available in the bluetooth system tray menu without another click if there's enough space for it (like it was pre-6.4)? It's okay if no.
