I am having a similar issue, though different behaviour (on the same app version). My default device name already had a white-space in it (‘Pixel 4a’), which, when left untouched, gets saved correctly. However, I am unable to enter any additional spaces into the text field: pressing the Space key or pasting a white-space character does nothing. Device: Google Pixel 4a Android version: 14 (PixelBuilds custom ROM) KDE Connect version: 1.33.4 Keyboard: Gboard 15.5.8.766552071-beta-arm64-v8a I tried this, but I am not able to reproduce this on my debug build. I am able to change the name in Pixel 7 Pro with white spaces, but on my Samsung with device name SM-**** it does not allow for white space characters. Once I am able to reproduce this I should be able to fix it. |
