Description Germano Massullo (Thetra) 2025-05-26 14:07:20 UTC
I think I already saw a similar discussion somewhere before, but right now I could not find it anywhere.
Currently Discover updates section contains two buttons:
- "Refresh" which is translated to "Aggiorna";
- "Update All" which is translated to "Aggiorna tutto"
and in my opinion this leads to confusion.
I propose to translate "Refresh" to "Controlla aggiornamenti" or "Ricontrolla aggiornamenti"

Yes I wrote about it in the mailing list, tho because I cannot create an account on the site I wasn't able to change it my self, and no one change it.

I would apply the same also on the menu entries you get when right clicking on updates tray icon in Plasma panel

Vincenzo, I think you translate most of those files, right?

Let me clarify one important step: creating an account on the kdeit translation website doesn't imply people can commit translations.

Yes, we must fix it. It's confusing!
I think "Refresh" -> "Controlla" or "Ricontrolla" would be enough...

I agree. "Aggiorna" has been replaced by "Controlla".
