STEPS TO REPRODUCE

1. Open KPatience.

2. See the list of available Solitaire variants.

3. Find and select the variant named "Zigeuner".

OBSERVED RESULT

The variant is named "Zigeuner", which is a racial slur against the Sinti and Roma community. This term is widely considered offensive and inappropriate in modern usage, especially in Germany and other European countries.

EXPECTED RESULT

The variant should be renamed to a culturally neutral and respectful term. Suggestions include:

"Nomad"

"Wanderer"

A name based on the actual ruleset (if known, e.g. "Forty Thieves"-type)

Using the name of an ethnic group, particularly one historically subjected to persecution, as a label for a game variant is inappropriate.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

The term "Zigeuner" has been officially recognized as discriminatory by multiple governments and organizations.

It has been removed from public broadcasters, educational materials, and institutional language use (e.g. by the German Press Council).

KDE should reflect inclusive language practices and avoid outdated and offensive terminology.
