Description Daniel Kauser 2025-05-02 18:39:57 UTC
In the observatory module of Ekos, the status text for dome or roof uses the string "Open". In English this works both as a verb and adjective, but in German it's currently translated as "Öffnen", which is incorrect in this context.
It should be "Geöffnet" or "Offen", as it's used to indicate a state, not an action.

This is a translation issue, not a KStars issue per se.

While the German translation is obviously wrong, adding a context to this string might help translators to watch out for "false friends" like this.
