I had a similar gripe about kmail, from my habbit of quickly saving messages to folders using pine's S command. A kmail developer kindly pointed out to me that in kmail you can use M to Move a message to a folder. A list of folders pops up, and as you type the first few letters of the folder it incrementally moves to the one you want. It's fairly nicely done I think. But unfortunately moving messages with M is not that convenient, see Bug 49780: most recently used targets for Move To/Copy To wanted Bug 78234: Move Dialog needs to remember collapsed folder states and here typing the name of the folder does nothing at all. Hmm, I don't see your point. |
