Thank you for the bug report! However Plasma 6.2.5 is no longer eligible for support or maintenance from KDE; supported versions are 5.27. (LTS), and 6.3 (non-LTS) or newer. Please upgrade to a supported version as soon as your distribution makes it available to you. Plasma is a fast-moving project, and bugs in one version are often fixed in the next one. If you need support for Plasma 6.2.5, please contact your distribution, who bears the responsibility of providing support for older releases that are no longer supported by KDE. If you can reproduce the issue after upgrading to a supported version, feel free to re-open this bug report. I tested this on two additional systems, the current testing and unstable live images. Operating System: KDE neon Unstable Edition KDE Plasma Version: 6.3.80 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.11.0 Qt Version: 6.8.1 Kernel Version: 6.8.0-52-generic (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland Processors: 8 × Intel® Core™ i5-8250U CPU @ 1.60GHz Memory: 23.3 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor 1: Mesa Intel® UHD Graphics 620 Graphics Processor 2: NV138 Operating System: KDE neon Testing Edition KDE Plasma Version: 6.2.90 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.11.0 Qt Version: 6.8.1 Kernel Version: 6.8.0-52-generic (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland Processors: 8 × Intel® Core™ i5-8250U CPU @ 1.60GHz Memory: 23.3 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor 1: Mesa Intel® UHD Graphics 620 Graphics Processor 2: NV138 The multiple-years-standing bug has not in fact been suddenly noticed and resolved in the last 4 months. My steps for reproduction from the booted live-image: 1. Open firefox (the right most pinned program) 2. Open a second window (ctrl+n) and minimize it 3. Open a third window and leave it open 4. Right click Icons-Only Task Manager to open its settings 5. On the Behavior tab, set "Group: Do not group" 6. Apply 7. Drag the right most icon, the third firefox window, and release it even more right The minimized window will now be the right most one. Try dragging either open window to the right most position, it won't work. |
